October’s Section Lunch will be on Tuesday, the 29th due to scheduling needs!
We will have two presenters for this month’s Section Lunch.
Our first will be Ken Lambla, a Past Dean of UNCC College of Architecture. He will be discussing community participation and leadership along with a knowledge-based focus on the future of the practice.
Our second presenter is the AIA NC 2019 President– Jim Williams. He will give us a brief at the end of our meeting regarding the state updates.
Last week, Friend • Design & Architecture & NexGen Builders gave our members a tour of The Dutch Light, a new cocktail lounge moving into the Innovation Quarter of downtown Winston-Salem. Thank you for giving us a sneak peek of this unique and exciting space!![]()

Shout out to Ricci Builders for an amazing project tour of one of their homes currently under construction. This project utilizes dozens of unique and sustainable building techniques that are second nature to Josh Ricci & his team and will be featured later this fall in the Winston-Salem Parade of Homes. ![]()
